Recipes for Herb Blends ~ Salt Free

Saltless Surprise:  2 tsp of garlic powder and 1 tsp each of basil, oregano, and powdered lemon rind.  Put ingredients into a food processor and mix well.  Store in glass container, label and add a few grains of rice to prevent caking.

Spicy Saltless Seasonings:  1 tsp each of cloves, pepper, and coriander seed (crushed), 2 tsp of paprika and 1 tbsp of rosemary.  Mix ingredients in a food processor.  Store in airtight container.

Shake the Salt Habit:  1 TBS garlic powder
1 tsp basil
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp parsley
1 tsp savory
1 tsp mace
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp sage
½ tsp cayenne pepper

Salad Seasoning:  ¼ cup Parsley flakes
2 TBS oregano
2 TBS Basil
2 TBS Marjoram
1 TBS Dry Mustard
1 ½ tsp Pepper
